High School: Graduated from Hammonton high school in 2014. I Graduated in the top 10% of my class, and was part of the National Honors Society. College: Currently a sophomore studying Health Sciences at Stockton University with a 3.64 GPA.

Experience

Tutored high school students through the National Honors Society throughout high school. I would like to tutor, because I feel as though it is important for students to have an option for extra help outside of the classroom to improve their learning experience. I have taken several biology, chemistry, and anatomy courses. I also have proficient algebra skills.

Hello, my name is Steve. Through out my educational career i have received help from all different sources, and I believe all of these sources have helped me get to where I am today. One form of help I have received at different times in my life was a tutor. When ever i was struggling to fully understand a subject I found that tutors were able to explain the subject or concept in a different way that would help me understand. This influence me in high school to become a tutor and help my peers in any subject they were struggling in. I also have experience tutor younger students at my local middle school. My educational strengths have always been science courses; they have naturally been the easiest for me throughout schooling. I have also excelled in math and algebra skills. I have found especially when working with younger students that tutor is so helpful, because the tutor my be able to put a concept into simpler terms that a teacher may not. Some hobbies and interest of mine include sports; my two favorite sports are soccer and tennis. Also I enjoy spending time outside hiking or kayaking.
